I could be talking about writing, or life, or some combination of the two here, because really, the action of leaping for your dreams happens all the time. Sometimes we take tiny jumps, like the soft bounce of a bird, hopping through the grass. Other times we fly like a Grand Prix jumper over obstacles seemingly too tall for us or too wide to handle. Most of the time, though, life hands us something in between. Like a move.
Here at Jupiter Gardens we’ve made two moves: our website and our physical location.
Packing up everything you own and moving 500 miles away may be easier than redoing an entire website; the jury is still out on that one. Either way, it involved some big leaps, some chances, and going on faith. In the end, we have a great new website, that we’re constantly improving over time, and we have a lovely new home where my horse can be on the same property with me–not boarded miles away–and I can have the quiet and solitude that I wish for along with gorgeous views.
The new website has a new look, new branding, new…well everything. And it’s just as great as our new home.
So what does this mean? It means to not be afraid to take the chance. Looking back over the journey to get to both places, the website and the new home, I can’t say that I knew I’d end up here in the beginning, but I sure wasn’t afraid to leap.
So this weekend, think about what you’d like to do…and go ahead… don’t just peer over the edge of that divide, jump over it, to find out what awaits on the other side.

I like the new site! It’s more streamlined. Good luck in your new home.
